Seaford: man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A 62-year-old man from Seaford has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting incident in North Way, Seaford, on Sunday September 16.

The man was injured in the incident and has been recovering in the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

He was arrested on Wednesday October 10 following his release from hospital and is now being questioned by detectives.

The shooting of the man by Sussex Police is currently the subject of an independent investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
