GENEROUS shoppers handed over cash for Eastbourne RNLI in the Terminus Road last week.

Lifeboat supporter Derek Legg was out busking and collecting in the town’s shopping heart on Friday (January 27). He was singing sea shanties and dressed as a lifeboat crew member to raise money for the charity.

The fundraiser was called Shout out Shanties and is part of the RNLI’s national SOS Day – its biggest fundraising event of the year.
