River Cuckmere at Hellingly & Horsebridge flood warning remains in place

Overnight The Environment Agency has said that water levels on the River Cuckmere are high but the river has peaked and levels are beginning to drop.

However, with further rain forecast for this (Sunday) morning levels on the river may respond rapidly.
