RAISING FUNDS FOR THE WINDMILL
A TABLE sale has been held to help raise funds for the Polegate Windmill.
More than 200 was raised towards getting the windmill to grind grain.
The event, held at the Polegate Community Centre, boasted 20 tables, with stalls including a tombola, plant stall, books, toys and bric-a-brac.
Organiser Jenny Wells said, 'Considering the weather, we did quite well.
'I was very pleased with the result.'
The next fundraising event for the windmill will be a coffee morning, to be held at the Polegate
Community Centre, on Saturday May 31, between 10am-12noon. (e21203c)
