Quartet on disturbance charges
FOUR young men have appeared in court accused of causing a disturbance.
Toby Nicholls, 20 and from Queens Road, appeared in the dock of Eastbourne Magistrates Court with 20-year-old Philip Eastwood, of Ashgate Road, 19-year-old Lukas Boboic, of St Anthony’s Avenue, and Ryan Nesbitt, 22, from Cade Street in Heathfield.
The men are accused of using threatening words or behaviour to cause fear of violence.
They are alleged to have committed the offence towards Liam, Arran and Warren Hills on April 4 but all for have denied the charge against them.
Each of them pleaded not guilty when they came up before magistrates on Tuesday morning (July 31) and a date was set for their trial.
The men will next appear at Hastings Magistrates Court from February 19 next year for a four-day trial.
They were each given bail conditions not to contact various prosecution witnesses. They were also ordered not to enter Percival Road.
