Peace vigil at Town Hall on New Year’s Day

The traditional peace vigil, organised by Eastbourne for Peace and Liberty, took place on the Town Hall steps at the stroke of noon on New Year’s Day.

Members of the vigil signed a letter to the Prime Minister to stress the need for an independent review of the outcome of Britain’s wars for the wellbeing of the people who live in the countries involved.
