NATHAN ONE STEP AWAY FROM FINAL
IT'S nearly judgement day for Eastbourne's dancing star Nathan Potter.
Tomorrow the 26-year-old will perform along with dance partner Kristy for a place in the final of the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever.
And Nathan is hoping everyone in the town will come out and vote for him and Kristy as the competition reaches a climax.
The dancing pair are just one step away from going head to head with another couple for the ultimate prize of 50,000 and the chance to star in a touring West End production.
Nathan has pulled out all the stops to fulfil a dream of staring on stage in the West End.
He's overcome injury to allow him and Kristy the right to dance for a place in the final.
'We're getting so close to the final and are desperate to win it,' said Nathan, who teaches dance to youngsters at Stagecoach at Ocklynge School.
'There have been highs and lows but the public's support has been wonderful.
'Getting to the final will be a fantastic achievement.'
But who does he see as their competition for the final two places?
'Everyone is our biggest rival,' he said. 'They are all excellent dancers with their individual strengths, but you really don't know what the judges are looking for each week.'
Nathan is thrilled with all the support he is getting from the public, as well as friends and family.
'I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has voted for us and everyone who is supporting us — and I hope they continue.'
