Men taken to hospital after roof fall terror

Three men were taken to hospital after falling through a roof in Hellingly.
The trio, aged 27, 30, and 33, suffered leg, wrist and arm injuries and were taken to Eastbourne DGH.
The incident happened last Wednesday (January 23) when the men fell about 15ft through the roof of a car spray booth in Horselunges Industrial Estate in Mill Lane.
The Sussex Air Ambulance was called to the scene following a call shortly before midday and were joined by police, South East Coast Ambulance Rescue Service, fire crews from Hailsham and Herstmoncuex and specialist fire crews from Battle and Lewes.
Firefighters rescued the casualties who were then taken to hospital via land ambulance.
Two of the men have since been discharged and at the time of going to press the other man remained at the DGH where his condition was described as stable.
