Make a will and help charity with Will Aid

Solicitors in Eastbourne are hoping to get more people to make a will and help raise funds for charity at the same time.
Many problems arise when people die without a will and local solicitors are hoping to reduce those issues during November by drawing up wills without charging their normal fee. All that they ask in return is that you consider making a donation to Will Aid.
The suggested minimum donation is £90 for a single Will, £135 for mirror Wills or £40 for a codicil or change to a previous Will. The money raised is shared by nine UK charities that carry out life changing work here in the UK and around the world, including Age UK, Christian Aid and Save the Children.
Shirley Marsland, campaign manager for Will Aid, said, “Often people make the assumption that if they die without a will, their loved ones will still be automatically provided for, but solicitors know that this can be far from the truth. Will Aid is a fantastic opportunity to get an affordable will with one of our friendly and approachable solicitors. They are giving their time without any payment to help you look after your loved ones and to support some very worthwhile causes.”
Organisers say the demand for the scheme is bound to be high and urge people to make an appointment as soon as possible.
