Jack to lose his curls in headshave for charity
Jack Anderson
A 12-YEAR-OLD Willingdon School pupil is shaving his head for Cancer Research in memory of his grandmother.
Jack Anderson, who lives in Polegate, is being sponsored to lose his curls and have his head shaved at Polegate’s Bad Barnet on February 18.
The youngster wants to raise as much cash for the charity as possible because his grandmother Christine Anderson lost her life to cancer in 1991.
Jack said, “I just want people to be able to wake up in the morning and not have to worry because there is a cure for cancer.
“I don’t want them to have to worry their family is going to die.”
Jack has already raised £200 for the charity.
People can support the schoolboy by donating at www.justgiving.com/jackanderson1401 or texting XUQV84 then the amount to 70070.
There is also a sweepstake game which costs £2 a go in the Junction Tavern in Polegate and a charity box in Stringtown supplies in the High Street.
