Hoodies nab phone after alley attack

A PAIR of hoodies pushed a man to the floor and stole his mobile phone during an early morning robbery in Eastbourne,

The victim was targeted on Belmore Road at around 12.30am on Monday as he walked home after a night out and Sussex Police is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The two hoodies pushed the victim into the alley which runs parallel with Melbourne Road and St George’s Road, pinned him to the floor and ransacked his pockets.

Having nabbed his phone they ran off in the direction of Seaside.

A police spokesperson said, “The only descriptions we have of the two men is that they were both white and wearing dark clothing.”
