Using Eastbourne’s Town Hall for community use is on the cards.

Workshops are to be held to look at the possibility of turning part of the Grove Road building into a Community Hub.

Eastbourne Borough Council wants to hear from community groups to help determine the way the Hub is developed.

Two workshops will be held at the Town Hall on Monday February 11 from 10am-12pm and in the afternoon from 2-4pm.

A council spokesperson said, “If you are an organisation delivering a community service in Eastbourne and are interested in sharing space and facilities in the Town Hall, then find out more at one of the two workshops.”

Further information is available by emailing Carolyn Lambert via lambertcsl@yahoo.co.uk

The Town Hall was used as offices for civic staff for a number of years but the majority of workers have now moved down the road to offices at 1 Grove Road.
