Four vehicle pile-up blocks road

MOTORISTS endured severe delays on the A27 yesterday morning following a four vehicle pile-up just before 8am.

The accident happened at Polegate which partially blocked the road. Traffic built up along the eastbound carriageway of the A27 eastbound and between the A2270 Polegate by-pass, as well as the A22.

The A27 is partially blocked at Polegate because of a four vehicle pile-up.
