Former Eastbourne DGH boss dies at the age of 66

A former chief executive of Eastbourne DGH has died at the age of 66.

Alan Randall’s posting at the hospital was the last before he retired 10 years ago. He then went on to found Yellowave, the first purpose built beach sports centre in the country at Madeira Drive in Brighton.

He was a keen supporter of Eastbourne Borough Football Club and penned a letter to The Herald back in January protesting against the sacking of Garry Wilson.

He died at his home in Shoreham on Wednesday.

Leave a tribute to Alan Randall below.
