Footie players left in dark during game

Borough players were plunged into darkness during Tuesday night’s game against Dorchester when a new volunteer working in the tea bar did as he was told and switched everything off – including the floodlights.

He accidentally plunged the stadium into darkness and staff had to wait 15 minutes for the lights to cool before turning them back on.
