Exhibition raises £800 for Chaseley

THE EASTBOURNE Open Art and Sculpture Exhibition at Chaseley raised more than £800 for the charity.

Forty-nine local artists exhibited their work and several sold pieces.

Local artist Rosemary Drysdale took on much of the

organisation of the event, and thanks to her and her team of helpers, it all ran very smoothly.

The People's Choice award – voted for by visitors – was won by Clive Fredriksson's Sussex Downs.

Clive won a 100 voucher and runner up Michael Greene won a 50 voucher.

The Robert Tavener limited edition print, kindly donated by Emma Mason, was won by Mrs Wood.
