Eastbourne driver in collision with six-year-old boy

A 51-year-old woman from Eastbourne driving her car through Bexhill collided with a six-year-old boy on Tuesday (February 5).

The incident took place in Cornwall Road, at about 8.40am, and the boy suffered a broken ankle.

The woman, driving a blue Ford Fiesta, wasn’t injured.

PC Barry Freeman said, “Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact us via 101 quoting Serial 0188 of 5 February.”
