Court appearance after throat slashing outside Hailsham pub

A 29-year-old has been charged after a man had his throat slashed while trying to break up a row outside a Hailsham pub.

Lucas Lamb, of Walton Close, will appear at Eastbourne Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday) charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 52-year-old victim was cut during the row outside the Corn Exchange on Sunday, May 13.

Another man, a 27-year-old from Heathfield, who was arrested the day after the attack on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm to another man outside the pub, remains on police bail until June 9.
