Come Dine With Me visits East Sussex

MAD-CAP cult TV show Come Dine with Me this week includes a pair of contestants from Eastbourne.

The popular Channel 4 programme sees five budding party planners take turns to host an evening of fun and frolics in their homes, with each of the guests marking the meet-ups out of ten.

Whichever person ends the week with the highest approval rating trousers a £1,000 cash prize.

This week’s screenings kicked off last night in nearby Hastings but anyone who missed it will be able to catch up with all the fun every evening from 5.30pm.

The two familiar faces set to appear are lawyer Adrian Carter, who planned a Moroccan themed night, and a local hairdresser Kate Eadon who works at Toni and Guy, who based her slot round a traditional English menu.

They are up against councillor and youth project manager Andrew Batsford, whose party was based on the music of 1980s pop sensations Wham!, Greek hair stylist Stelios Michael and Sally Anne Keller from Battle who served up platefuls of German food.
