TO celebrate your new-look Herald, we will be out and about during the next few weeks, meeting you, talking to you- and finding out what you think.

And today, Friday, we will be giving away money. Yes, money and other goodies!

We’ll be at the Arndale Centre from 10am, when MP Stephen Lloyd will join us to mark our relaunch.

Then from 10.30am, the give-away will get under way on a first come basis. We will have 500 envelopes to hand out, each containing either a crisp £5 note, or a lottery ticket, or another prize.

Other freebies will include vouchers from ESK, £50 towards a meal at Pomodoro and Mozzarella, an overnight stay at the Cavendish Hotel, and hairdressing treats from Icon.
