Charity town centre pancake race raises thousands

Local businesses competed in a pancake race through Eastbourne shopping precinct today (Shrove Tuesday).

The races are thought to have raised thousands of pounds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Duncan Adams from St Wilfrid’s said, “We have had great fun and raised thousands. We are very grateful to everyone who took part.”
