Cash stolen from furniture shop in late night burglary

The Browns furniture shop in Eastbourne has been burgled and a small amount of cash taken from the till.

Police are not saying how much money was taken following the late night burglary on Sunday.

A rock was thrown through the window of the shop in Pevensey Road at about 11.30pm. Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.

PC Jeremy Lowe said; “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in this area at that time. If you can help please call us via 101 quoting serial 0049 of 8/10.”
