Canon Rideout in crown court today

Retired priest Canon Gordon Rideout is due to appear at the crown court today (Friday) in connection with 38 allegations of historic sex abuse.

Rideout, 73, of Filching Close, Wannock, is alleged to have committed the 38 offences, including sexual assault and attempted rape, against 18 children between 1962 and 1973.
