Canine capers

A FUN dog show held at the Roborough Day Hospital last Sunday has raised around £200 for the Eastbourne Mind Association.

The weather was kind for the event, held in the grounds of the hospital in Upper Avenue, Eastbourne.

There were eight classes, including puppies, best in show, best small, medium and large dogs and the coveted titles of most handsome dog and prettiest bitch.

Staff from Chase Veterinary Centre were the judges.

There was a tombola, bric-a-brac and competition for name the teddy, amongst other attractions, and the Cats Protection League and Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare were also at the show.
