BREAKING NEWS: Seaford motorcylist dies after crash
A SEAFORD motorcyclist has died following a collision with a moving bus.
The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Ditchling Road, Brighton.
The incident took place on Tuesday (February 7) afternoon. The man’s 20-year-old female pillion passenger from Newhaven was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The Kawasaki motorbike was in collision with a moving bus before hitting some street furniture.
Sergeant Clare Kenward from the Roads Policing Unit said, “Our thoughts are with a family of the young man who has sadly died and with the injured woman, who remains in a very serious condition in hospital.
“If you witnessed the collision or saw the bus or motorbike prior to the incident, please call 101 quoting Op Smallfield.”
