Any takers for Lottery £1m ticket?

A £1 MILLION lottery prize is waiting to be claimed by someone who bought the winning ticket in Wealden.

The National Lottery organisers are currently trying to track down the owner of a EuroMillions ticket, which was bought for the draw on November 25 in the Wealden district.

If the owner comes forward before 11pm on May 23, they stand to win an astonishing £1 million.

The winning ticket has the winning EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection VVT537436.

In attempt to find the lucky, but oblivious, winner, a valentine ad is due to appear in Friday’s Eastbourne Herald which it is hoped will attract the attention of the winner.

A National Lottery spokesperson said, “It’s one of the more unusual steps we have taken to unite the owner of an unclaimed ticket with their win but we hope it will have the desired effect.

“Many people meet their life partners this way, so why not their life fortune!”

The dating ad calls for a “long lost love” to come forward “for a life changing experience” and like all those looking for love this Valentines, is hoping for “a match made in heaven”.

If you believe you have the unclaimed winning ticket, call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
