Adult loan available for college learning

Adults over the age of 24 looking to study at Sussex Downs College are now entitled to apply for an ‘Advanced Learning Loan’ to help support their learning.

The Government’s 24+ Advanced Learning Loan is being introduced this year and provides a means for anybody aged 24 and over to improve their qualifications through access to further education.

Sussex Downs College is one of a raft of approved training providers who will offer the funding for courses starting on or after August 1.

This means that those aged 24 and above studying level 3 and 4 qualifications including A Levels, Access to Higher Education diplomas, certificates and Apprenticeships can apply for the loan to help pay their course fees.
