Wish Tower was haven for elderly

THE Wish Tower was the only place where the elderly residents of Eastbourne (the majority!) could sit in the warmth and enjoy the scenery with company and refreshments if they wanted them. The hotels would not take kindly if they were inundated with non-residents.

We do not need yet more eating houses. Just somewhere out of the wind to enjoy the coast line.
