Why so many executives at this topping out?

WE ARE pleased to see Jack Revell’s letter to the editor in Wednesday Gazette asking why so many Eastbourne Borough Executives needed to attend the topping out of Morrisons.

This is a typical example of the council wasting taxpayer’s money and they seem to have fallen into a trap of accepting the supermarket chain’s PR spin.

There was nothing for them to gain from leaving their offices for this photo shoot, particularly given their high salaries. The people of Eastbourne deserve better from their civil servants.
