Sporty youngsters set great example

I am pleased to hear that local cyclists/skateboarders/roller bladers are using the prom to enjoy the fresh air and exercise.

These youngsters have amazing reflexes that enable them to avoid you and not knock you over.

They are young, they have this skill. It is too dangerous to cycle along the road due to the chevron style parking (also in Seaford).

Reversing drivers cannot see approaching cyclists.

It is great to hear that locals are also playing football/cricket, etc on the grass – so much better for all than hunched over a computer screen or hanging around shopping centres.

It is the year of our Olympics – let’s encourage all to get fit.

Louise Cave,

Fairways Road
