Praise for care on Glynde Ward

IN a society where it seems more common place to complain rather than praise I would like to break this cycle of discontent by giving a tribute to Eastbourne District Hospital.

I stayed on Glynde Ward for three days whilst undergoing an operation, the treatment I received throughout was impeccable from the specialists, doctors and nurses to the happy young lady who brought our early morning drinks.

The ward was beautiful and clean. Questions asked by patients were answered politely and reassuringly.

The whole atmosphere was calming and pleasant.

We are truly blessed to have our local hospital. My sincere thanks to all concerned.
