One too many phrases, perhaps?

I AM wondering if your chief reporter Annemarie may have had a couple of drinks before writing her Out in the Field piece for the Herald last week.

Or is she just trying too hard to be “down with the kids” with such inappropriate phrases as “do-gooders getting their knickers in a twist”, “ blah, blah, blah”, “banging on”, “moaning minnies” and to round it off nicely, “hacked off hoteliers”.
