RE the proposed developments of the Town v Harbour. Why should there be an issue?

The town urgently needs an up-date.

It has an excellent transport system to bring people in, would create much needed employment, and increase trade for everyone if there was a good balance of shops.

The harbour is way out of town and has it’s own needs. Why could it not be developed later, but with alternative choices of stores to the town?

There is no need for competition.

Two different insurance companies are involved - let them come together on this.
