New Tesco Express with kill Little Chelsea

I am horrified at yet another Tesco Express being given the expected go ahead.

No one seems to be concerned about the impact on the neighbourhood. It will kill what is left of Little Chelsea, the struggling traders needing support and encouragement.

This site could be developed into much needed accommodation for young people or first time buyers. With imaginitive planning the area could be become like The lanes in Brighton.

The promise of 25 jobs opposed to a vibrant community, short-term gain and giving in to the Tesco giant.

There must be further consultation and restoration in the belief that the public have a voice.
