Maternity unit was amazing

I WRITE to say what fantastic service and care I received when I had my little boy at the end of April at Eastbourne DGH Litlington Ward. The maternity unit was amazing – everyone very lovely and helpful. Nothing was a problem, even though they were short staffed.

A special mention to midwife Alice Stringer, she was absolutely amazing – so helpful to me and my partner and just generally happy all the time. She had seven women to look after as well as everything else she was doing, but nothing was any problem.

This isn’t to say all the other midwives weren’t fantastic but Alice really stood out to us.
