His grace should say ‘orf my land’!

I READ, with horror, your article regarding the temporary siting of a cafe on the seafront lawns by the Lib Dem led council.

I suggest the Conservative group travel at once to Chatsworth House to acquaint the Duke of Devonshire with these outlandish and inappropriate plans and get his view of the council and a third party proposing a planning application on his grounds.

I would hope that His Grace would give an appropriate response to such high handedness with the words ‘get orf my land.’

JAMES WARD,

Royal Parade.
