Harbour still in the slow lane

ONE OF the main difficulties for house owners in Sovereign Harbour has always been the quality of broadband access.

No free broadband (unlike Langney Point who are in the same ward). Some nights even with the latest computer there is no access at all.

Last year friends on North and South Harbour wanted to get up a petition but we were assured by several prominent councillors that this would all be sorted when we got the superfast broadband promised by BT.

I was told it was imminent so you can imagine how excited we all were until surprise, surprise Ian Weeks in the Gazette announced that it would not include the Harbour.

I’d like some answers as to why the yet again the Harbour is not considered part of Eastbourne.
