Exams did not reflect studies

JUST what is going on in our schools! Yesterday my grandson had to take a science exam. He is a conscientious, intelligent child who revised over the past week for this exam. He came home quite upset because although he had done his best (all you can ask) there where several questions in the paper the content of which the pupils had NOT been taught.

On questioning the teacher about this the pupils where told they where being insolent! We feel that this is a poor state of affairs which needs addressing.
