FIRST objective achieved : sell more copies of the newspaper! Well done to the PR company behind this!

Is the redeveloped Arndale centre going to include a nine-screen IMAX cinema? No? Well then what is the problem?

This is the main reason for the upgraded development being planned at the Sovereign Harbour retail park.

There will then remain just three units to be filled by retailers, hardly a ‘new shopping complex’ as your leading article suggests.

People already come to the Sovereign Harbour retail park for the cinema, why deny them the opportunity of 21st century technology?

There is room for both developments in Eastbourne, why be so petty minded about it, think of the bigger picture!
