Disappointed with editorial

I AM disappointed at your editorial not supporting Pevensey Bay.

First, HSBC (the world’s local bank) close our only bank.

Second, the Olympic torch committee run the torch along three miles of unpopulated A259, before putting it in a car on the edge of the village.

Third, our local newspaper says we are cheeky and should be grateful the torch is coming to the area at all.

The torch is a symbol of athletics, do you really expect the local residents to turn out to watch it being driven past?
