Centre’s disabled toilets upstairs?

ALTHOUGH I am not a resident of the town, I am a keen theatre-goer and consequently a frequent visitor.

There are some fairly decent toilets in the Arndale shopping centre and usually I prefer to take the double flight of stairs as most of the elderly ladies stay downstairs.

And what do I find when I get upstairs to the newly-furbished toilets? A dedicated large door toilet, complete with handles on either side of the wall for the disabled.

I should be interested to know how someone on crutches or in a wheelchair tackles those stairs?
