Better to upgrade existing airports

I AM very sorry but I have broken out in a cold sweat at the thought of an airport to be built in the Thames Estuary of all places! Surely money would be much better allocated to the upgrading of existing airports? Better still, I pray that “top people” are as I write, designing a future new “Thames Barrier” to protect the whole of London from flooding, as extreme weather patterns are so unpredictable!
