Airbourne could pay tribute to veteran of the Falklands

I’M SURE we are all disappointed that the Red Arrows will be unable to perform at Airbourne this year.

However, we need not despair as, with goodwill on the part of Eastbourne Borough Council, we could have the iconic Vulcan bomber to thrill us doing its fantastic fly past to commemorate its historic flight to the Falklands to bomb the runway there, at the start of the Falklands war.

I have been suggesting for several years that Eastbourne Borough Council try to book the Vulcan for Airbourne, but without success – maybe this year we will succeed?
