Visitors to this year’s Let’s Do Business event in Eastbourne are being offered the chance to learn life saving first aid during the one day business networking event.
First aid trainers from the charity will give delegates demonstrations and in a variety of skills, including the recovery position, at the Winter Garden networking event on July 2.
St John Ambulance is one of a number of organisations attending the event, which is designed to give local companies and organisations an opportunity to network, share best practice and promote their services and products.
Deborah Adwent, regional training manager, said, “This event is a great opportunity for people working locally to pick up some life saving skills.
“Learning first aid is so important – you could help save the life of a loved one, a friend, or a complete stranger.
“We’re also hoping local firms will take the opportunity to see how convenient and beneficial our local training venue is for the business community.”
St John Ambulance offers a detailed programme of business related first aid and health and safety courses at its centre on Bourne Street in Eastbourne including First Aid at Work and a fire marshal course.
