Highly-regarded Lampons estate and letting agents in Eastbourne, Uckfield and Seaford will rebrand to Freeman Forman at the start of June.
Countrywide plc, which Freeman Forman is part of, acquired Lampons at the end of 2013.
Over the past few months, business at the three branches has moved over to Freeman Forman culminating in the rebrand.
As well as this, the Uckfield branch of Freeman Forman will merge with Lampons in the town and the Eastbourne branch of Lampons will merge with Freeman Forman.
In its 25th year Freeman Forman has been established in the East Sussex and Weald of Kent areas since 1989.
The rebrand means that Freeman Forman will have a network of 13 branches throughout the area.
With the backing of Countrywide plc, the UK’s largest property services group, Freeman Forman is able to provide customers with local and national property expertise as well as a range of services including sales, lettings, land and new homes, auctions, insurance, conveyancing and mortgage services.
Commenting on the acquisition, Andrew Bench, Regional Director of Countrywide plc, said: “The combined forces of Lampons and Freeman Forman which are two successful brands will create a huge presence in Eastbourne, Uckfield and Seaford providing clients with a customer focussed service.
“Being part of the largest estate agency network, clients will inevitably have access to more buyers and therefore a better chance of selling their house quickly and at a better price.”
