Election fever swept Seaford Head School when students held their own mock count - with Labour as the victors.

Over the past month, representatives for the four main parties have been campaigning for students’ votes.

Labour, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party were led by Toby Kean, Matthew Lloyd, Poppy Lloyd and Holly Varndell and their representatives.

A spokesperson for Seaford Head School said, “he attitude from students across the school during this time has been excellent, and all involved have approached the event with a mature outlook.

“The manifestoes were presented in assembly, the campaigns were taken to the corridors, the votes were counted and verified and Labour were elected as the official party for Seaford Head School.

“Congratulations to Toby Kean and his team for a fantastically well informed, consistent and enthusiastic campaign throughout .”
