Jury in the Darren Croxton murder trial still considering verdict

The jury in the Darren Croxton murder trial is spending a third day considering its verdict (Friday).

They retired on Wednesday morning to decide if 19-year-old Stuart Johnson and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are guilty of murder.

Darren Croxton, 25, was rushed to hospital in Brighton after being stabbed in the leg during the brawl but died the following morning.

There has been a strong police presence in and around the court during the trial which is being overseen by justice Singh.
