Jazz at Gold Room

ACE jazz trombonist Roy Williams will be appearing at the Winter Garden's Gold Room with the Ron Drake Quintet on November 17, presented by the Friends of the Towner.

For many years Roy was a member of the Alex Welsh and Humphrey Lyttleton bands, and appeared regularly at jazz festivals all over the world.

Sax/clarinettist Ron Drake fronts a group which includes the multi-talented Nick Davison on piano and Richie Bryant on drums, a long standing member of the Acker Bilk Band.

Tickets cost 12 and are available from the Tourist Information Office, The Congress Box Office or Wendy Bishop on 731607.
