Old Town residents enjoyed their annual fete in the sun.

The recreation ground in Longland Road buzzed with fun and activities as hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed the food, entertainment and side shows.

The Friends of Old Town Recreation Ground have been awarded a Green Flag for quality and cleanliness and this was unfurled as the fete was opened by Kathryn Anderson, the president of the Sussex Diocese Mothers Union. The Eastbourne Scottish Pipe Band, Old Town Blues Band and Mark Caira provided entertainment.
