A SERIES of discussion groups that will look at improving library services in East Sussex are being held in July.

People are invited to join in and share their views.

The Eastbourne discussion group will then take place on July 4 (6pm-7.30pm) at the Town Hall.

It has been re-scheduled from June to allow more people to take part.

Several areas of the library service are being reviewed to make sure that the best services are provided at the best price - and in the right place at the right time for residents.

They issues to be reviewed are: services provided to rural areas, mobile libraries and mobile office with computer access and libraries within a five mile radius of central Eastbourne.

The groups aim to find out how people would like to access library services and how services fit into current lifestyle and travel patterns.

Refreshments will be provided and travel expenses refunded. It is essential to register in advance. To find out more information and register to take part, email simon.northmore@ntlworld.com or telephone 01273 335551. Or visit www.eastsussex.gov.uk/libraries
